Cinnamon

from Ceylon

From Cuetzalan del Progreso, in Puebla’s Northern Sierra, I’m sharing the story of my cinnamon trees. I’m Lucy Díaz, working in the fields and mountains, growing top-quality products—and I invite you to make yourself a delicious cup of tea.

All the cinnamon I grow on my land is organic: pure Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum). You can tell it apart right away because it contains no chemicals or pesticides. I grow it using only organic fertilizer.

This excellent product is the finest cinnamon we have in the country, and you can identify it by its aroma and outstanding flavor. We use practically the entire bark, not the wood.

I have worked the land since I was a child. I like to care for my products from planting through harvest, then package and distribute them into the hands of my customers and friends.

Besides being used for tea, delicious desserts, and aromatic dishes, this cinnamon also has healing properties: it lowers blood sugar and high cholesterol levels and helps reduce body weight. My cinnamon is a delight—I invite you to try it!
